So Brenna has learned the sound of the ice cream truck when it comes through the neighborhood. She will stop whatever it is that she is doing, and announce: "Listen! Hear that, Mommy/Daddy. Ice cream truck!" This has been going on for some time. Tonight, Ken took her to the street to "look" at the ice cream truck, but caved and let her pick an ice cream. She chose a Wacky Watermelon popsicle. He brought her to the house, and she was sooooo proud of her popsicle. She sat in her chair and ate the whole thing. We are in so much trouble now. I just know we better have some change on hand, because she is going to want to be down at the curb when that truck goes by from now on.
Here are some photos of her with her popsicle:

So, so, so cute! For some reason our ice cream truck comes at around 8pm (end of route?), so FireGirl's getting ready for bed at that time. I think it would be fun though to see her face light up at the sound.
BTW - randomness - we have the same high chair. =o)
