Two months old tomorrow!

More photos coming. I can't believe how much Brenna has started to do in the past week. She is now smiling constantly. She also loves to imitate the facial expressions we make to her. It is hysterical to watch her work so hard to get the expression just right. She now notices her toys and will reach out and bat them and grasp a toy put in her reach. She shakes her rattles and smiles! She has a little stuffed dolly that she is obsessed with. There are serious conversations that only Brenna can understand between the two of them on a daily basis. She has also started cooing with vowel sounds. I think she is going to be quite a talker (like her daddy) in the not so distant future. I love listening to her little voice! She is still sleeping through the night and I am loving the extra sleep!

Brenna is six weeks old

I have new photos including one of Brenna's first smile. We have been playing with her and making so many silly faces to get her to smile that I know the poor kid's face must hurt. She is still into the tongue game where if we stick out our tongue at her she will stick hers out too. She has also been batting at toys and following objects with her eyes from side to side. We are loving this new playful time with her.

She Smiled!!!!!

Yesterday was our third wedding anniversary. Brenna gave us our present all day long. She decided it was a good day to work her little charms and smile at us. Not the usual random "I have the toots" smile, but in response to silly faces we make at her. Oh yes, you know we spent the entire day making funny faces and laughing at that huge, precious, toothless smile of hers. We still elicit the same response today. What a wonderful anniversary present! Our day was complete with that little milestone. Off to make a pretty little girl smile some more.....
