We have a cereal eater!

Brenna hopes everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! Here is the only photo I have for the whole day. I was quite busy in the kitchen while the other kids played with her.





We started Brenna on rice cereal on Thanksgiving Day. We figured that if everyone else was having a special meal, then so should she. She has actually shown signs of readiness for a few weeks, but the pediatrician said wait until four months old unless she wanted more formula than she was already taking.

She is doing so well with the cereal. We crack up because she is like a little baby bird. When she sees the spoon coming, the mouth opens wide and the head bobs up. I am posting some photos.

Four months!

Brenna is four months old! She is getting so big now. I weighed her yesterday and she is getting close to 15 pounds! She is rolling both directions but getting herself stuck occasionally, which leads to a lot of noise. She no likey! We will be trying cereal with her soon. She goes to the doc on the 2nd, and I am sure the pedi will recommend cereal then. Little girlfriend is growing up quickly. Jamie made her cute little sign in the pics below. It took him 2 minutes to do. I guess those high school digital imaging classes taught him something after all. I thought it was very cute.

Halloween pics as promised

As promised, here are the Halloween pictures! I borrowed the pumpkin costume from a coworker. It has become a tradition that the kids born to the group all wear that costume on their first Halloween. I am not one to break tradition and that costume is super cute. Brenna also had a jack o lantern onesie and hat that I had bought before I knew about the costume. We just hung put at home and passed out candy to the 100+ Trick or Treaters we had come through here.

I will be reposting those cute Christmas photos again as the holiday approaches. They are too cute to allow them to slip too far off of the front page!
