Brenna loves trains!

We took Brenna and jamie to Entertrainment Junction today. What a nice place! We were just amazed at the detail put into the train displays. Brenna loved it. A big perk was that it is Thomas the Train month and Brenna loves her some "Tom Choo". I had the point and shoot with me, and here are a few of the photos from our day.

Riding on the Thomas the Train. This was seconds before they got on the other side of the room where she could not see us. She had such a hissy fit that the poor guy had to stop the train and bring her to us. Kings Island might not be in her near future.

It has been an active day around here. We bought Brenna a little potty chair a couple of weeks ago. For the last two nights, we have let her sit on it for a couple of minutes. The thought was just to let her get used to it being there before we start trying to train her. Well, tonight she sat there for about a minute, then said "ummm, oh, uh oh!" And kept trying to look in the potty. She actually went in her potty. We were very excited. I do not expect it every time, but she was quite proud of herself. She got rewarded with a cookie and spent the next five minutes running around the living room yelling "pee pee" and "potty". I think maybe we need to come up better words?

Also, she started trying to say her own name tonight. It sounds more like "Bwanna". She saw a photo of herself, and when we asked her who was the picture of, she said "Bwanna". She was quite pleased with herself and did it several more times. We just need to work on the sounds a bit.

Quite a night. Can't wait for tomorrow. Snow pics coming later tonight.
