So we have a little chatty girl. Brenna has learned so many words. Lately, she has been pointing when we say a word, so it is great that she knows the meaning of so many of them.
Her words that she says:
Dada
Mama
Hi
Bye Bye
Night Night
Kitty or Cat or meow
Doggie
Ducky
That
BaBa
BuBa (brother)
Ball
Toy
Things she points to when we say them:
Dada
MaMa
Buba (brother)
doggie
kitty
ducky
belly
nose
toes
music (her wind chimes) dances when word is said too!
splishy splash (tub or pool)
bottle
puffs
Sprout (points to TV)
play me some music (plays music on her toy)
sugars (gives kisses)
hug (hugs her dolly)
play ball (throws ball to you)
up arms (raises arms for clothing)
come to mommy or daddy (crawls to us or raises arms for pick up)
That is all I have off the top of my head. Wowza. They grow so quickly, and the rapid development of their little brains is the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed.

A few more new photos
She is growing up so fast! We are one month away from her first birthday. I cannot believe it. Here are a few pics I have taken since we returned from vacation.

Learning to feed herself. What a MESS!

I think there is more food on her than she got in her.

What happens when you take a spoon away from a baby.

Still not over it, and not to happy about the camera either.

All is well in Brenna's world again. I slipped her a baby cookie.

I was blaming the cats for rearranging the candle holders. Hmmm.....

Caught the culprit red handed. I have the pics to prove it.

Helping Daddy brush Tiger.

Learning how to get up the step into the kitchen.

Can you tell she is very happy about her new freedom?

Singing and dancing.

Looks like someone is unimpressed with the camera.

Pictures from Vacation!
Riding in the Ergo and watching the sunset. I look like I was going to fall over because girly girl was grabbing my hair.
Munching snacks and playing at the house.
Worn out after a day at the beach.
"Does this hat make my head look big?" Showing off her beach attire.
Practicing for next year. She did not want her body to touch the sand this year.
Jamie and Brenna chilling out at the house.
Ready for some sunshine

The effects of sugar when you are already too sweet
Long time, no update...I know. I promise to get in here more often!
So, we are vacationing in the Outer Banks. Brenna has been a joy this week. All kinds of new things going on with her. Limited internet access means a limited post tonight, so more on the new stuff later.
Back on topic-We went out to dinner for our last night at the beach. Ken decided it would be a great idea to give Brenna lots of banana pudding as a treat. Ok, fine, the girl eats just about anything we are willing to give her. She had her share of his tasty dessert. We went back to the house, girly girly chat chattering away from the back seat. I mean REALLY chattering, cutting up, laughing etc. We put her in her walker, and she spent the next hour zipping around the house, pointing, chatting, yelling in her cute little voice. She did not stop for an hour.
It was hilarious in an odd sort of way. It was like she was running around, swinging her arms, little peanut legs going 90 miles an hour, and saying "Wooohooo banana pudding is the best stuff ever. I love my Daddy! He shares dessert. Woot woot! Look out, coming through! Did I just rip down the drapes? What did I just roll over? More banana pudding please!" Then she had a sugar crash and has been sleeping happily ever since. No more sweets for the little sweetie pie for a LONG time. I have never seen such a pronounced sugar buzz...ever.
