It would be so pointless. She tells us what she wants. I don't know what to do with the shock I have most days. Tonight, she said "milk". Ok, fine, milk it is. "Cup". OK, milk in cup. "Snack". Sure watermelon is the snack at dinner. Then she said "more" plain as day when she wanted more watermelon at dinner. She is teething, and watermelon is a cold and wonderful thing for her. I said "more what?" and she pointed at the container of watermelon chunks and said "more this". Why even bother with teaching her to sign? All I need to do is tell her the words apparently. I cannot get over this. Stunning. Oh yeah, and I am most definitely mama. When she sees me, she points at me and yells "MAMA!" as loud as she can, over and over and over and over and over. I get it girlfriend. I.AM.MAMA!
She also loves to find shoes in the house and yells "shoes". As well as making many animal noises. She knows cow, dog, cat, and duck very well. She can do her fingers to one, two, three, four, and will hold up one finger when you ask her "how old are you?" I am scared of what the future brings because little girl is a verbal girl. She is going to tell us how it is. Wishing her luck!

Talky, talky, talk, talk.....
So we cannot stop the wordfest. It just goes on and on. Her latest words: light, shoes, snack, see this, see that, Dorrr-ahhh (the Explorer), Bob (the builder), Sprout (when she wants TV on), bottle, water, milk, look that, see that, makes cow sounds, duck sounds, dog sounds, lion sounds, and babbles incessantly! I love it, but she looks at us like we should understand every word. She has her own language sometimes. We no comprende. She thinks we are nuts. She knows what she is saying, what is wrong with her parents?
